Provider Inclusion Criteria

Inclusion in a study is evidence of a research appearance, not an endorsement or a complete view of the market.

The question sets the boundary

A provider comparison should stay within the hosting need described by the study. Different questions can produce different candidate sets. Readers should not compare positions across unrelated studies as though they were one universal league table.

The research record supplies the providers and results shown in an index. Editorial explanation should preserve that scope rather than add unsupported claims about all available providers.

Identify the provider accurately

A provider, broker, marketplace, and referral platform can play different roles. Shared branding does not mean two products or entities are interchangeable. Where the evidence leaves a provider's identity or role uncertain, that uncertainty belongs in the explanation.

A company's appearance in an AI answer does not establish current product availability or permission to operate in a reader's location.

What absence means

Absence from a published study means the provider is not represented in that study's displayed results. It does not establish that the provider is unsuitable, unavailable, or lower quality.

A provider can submit a factual correction through the contact channel. A request for coverage does not justify adding an unsupported research appearance or changing a recorded ranking.
